Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th Apr - 2nd May 2021]

It makes no sense unless Cedric is carrying a knock. Moving Xhaka out of midfield is braindead, especially when we have a fit full back who could fill the role and help maintain an important player in midfield. It's going to look even worse if Xhaka picks up an injury, although that could be a blessing in disguise as it seems like the only way to make Arteta drop his favourites.

That's what happens when your coach got his badges from a cereal packet.

Is Arteta your new Lampard? :D

Is this United vs Liverpool game going to go ahead then or what as the United fans have broken in and are protesting on the pitch. The United coach cant get into the stadium...I imagine the LFC one wont even attempt it for security reasons.

they should force utd to forfeit the game

Those supporters have now had more time on the OT pitch than van de Beek.

Good idea!

It's the only way it'd get the message to fans. I'd say it for any team, especially if it's 100s of fans - it's not like it could be a few liverpool fans trying it on.

I'm not really in favour of such protests but in fairness it's probably one of the only ways to actually drive home the message to the Glazers, not that I think it'll really change anything. I think it would take a widespread boycott of games to work.

The protest wasn't going to achive just cause it was done on the pitch, do it fair enough but do it off the pitch.

Kick off officially delayed, no new time given as of yet, apparently players haven't even left hotel

The objective was the cause as much disruption as possible, getting onto the pitch has achieved that. Where they crossed the line was smashing up camera equipment and throwing flares at Sky pundits.

Nothing will work. The only thing that would make them sell is a crazy offer that’s massively over valuing the club. They are under no illusions about how popular they are. They probably laugh when things like this happen. Water off a ducks back.

Not sure why anyone bothers to be honest.
