Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th April - 2nd May 2022]

Hard to see either Liverpool or City losing points this season. Can see Liverpool ending on 94pts and still finishing 2nd, behind by 1pt. Going to be funny if Man City win the league by 1 pt and Everton get relegated by 1 pt, given that 100% handball in the Everton v Man City match. Rarely does 1 match have a 1 point consequence so significant at both ends of the table. Decisions balance out over a season but would be ironic if that those two teams end up being able to look at that one incident and think if only, but for such different reasons

Comprehensive win for City in the end and +4 for the goal difference. On to the next round of games and probably Liverpools toughest remaining league game, v Spurs

BBC 606 basically blaming Grealish last night saying he was late and there was no malice in his tackle. His tackle? He wasn't late lol.

Their top 3 players this season.

Savage

3 Ronaldo
2 B Silva
1 M Salah

Sutton

3 Concelo
2 Rice
1 VVD

No 22 goals and 13 assists Mo Salah in Suttons team :cry:

Clown.

I listened to some of that yesterday evening and Sutton ended up calling someone an idiot and a clown for suggesting Liverpool winning the quadruple was better than Celtic winning 5 trophies in the 60s. He's only employed because of his clickbait views, no one takes him seriously, not even Savage.

You've never listened to the 606 phone in hosted by Savage and Sutton? They wouldn't look out of place on talksport.

There's controversial then there's plain silly. Talksport are comfortably the worst for it with Goldstein being a level above anyone else. I wouldn't expect the BBC to follow suit and dont think they are as bad.

I miss when they used to rotate the hosts a little on 606 with Kelly Cates and Ian Wright etc.
