Was bound to happen disappointed but i dont get why everyone is saying its the start of the end etc. Have they forgot there is still a 5 point gap at the top with same games played?

However, we don't know why this happens, is it a simple tactic change, training schedule, a different way the new manager approaches/talks to the players? Maybe if the ex-manager adjusted 1 thing, like, empathy, approachability, better man management for example, the whole team may have changed for the better.

Its effort levels. Its almost entirely effort levels. The only reason football players get away with this **** is because they are on contracts. In any other company you would just be fired. I tell a lie, you wouldn't, you wouldn't even consider putting that little effort into a job that was paying £80k+ a week.

Hes not been there long enough to do anything serious apart from change morale.

Yeah I guess, shame we didn't put the effort in during our first 2 games this season, no new manager bounce there. Granted I know we had pre-season so wasn't a mid season, mid week appointment.

Because they have to play City twice, that could be your 5 points gone right there. Its not the end but its going to be hard to keep their nerve now. Arsenal also have the biggest disparity between expected points and actual points in the league so perhaps a return to the mean is to be expected.

Who knows, its in their own hands but nerves have to creep in.

but city have to play us twice and that could leave them a further 6 points behind us....

we had to play utd at home, we had to play spurs, we had to play liverpool

we don't need to fear anyone, city should be more worried playing us at emirates

I don't think ETH is a "hype man". Hes closer to Guardiola than Klopp in that regard. He wins players over with his competence and support, not with immediately changing the feelings in the camp. You could see how United performed when Ole replaced Mourinho, it was amazing. Mourinhos coaching and organisation with Oles feel good factor.
