Brighton have played their way into this nicely. Same old Manu. As for the tackle everyone was getting their knicks in a twist over - I don't think it was even a yellow. The world has gone soft. Hard to see what the structure of our team is or who is playing where. Fred clearly the sitting midfielder but he's had a poor game. I agree mcSauce isn't good enough but he's clearly preferred by every manager over the likes of vdBeek. Have barely seen Sancho or Rashford.
Fernandes is still a huge problem for this team - I mean what is he trying to do? I hope EtH tears them all a new one at half time.

We will struggle against well organised and coached teams like this for a while. Completely changing the way we play takes time and its showing.

Still too many positional issues like the midfielders sitting in no mans land in amongst the defenders and the opposition having 2-3 players free at the edge of the box ready to pick up second balls.

McTominay is very average and not really good at anything. Fred is a bit better but a similar sort of situation.

VdBeek is more of a support striker so isn't a realistic contender for central midfield. Not sure why we signed him...

Indeed, we may be up and down all season, the squad is lacklustre too regardless of the managers quality. Transfer business hasn't been great so far.
