I’m hopeful - unlike many previous seasons we’re starting off having already had the main signings get a pre-season in and be ready from the get-go, and whilst there’s still a couple of people out with injuries the cover for them is more adequate. After a past season spent largely without a striker (both literally and figuratively) I’m just crossing my fingers Jesus isn’t immediately at the end of overly enthusiastic challenges and can avoid getting snapped up in his first competitive 90mins.

Team looks very strong. You look at it and think any decent manager would get that team into the top 4.

Strong starting 11 but we still have a weak bench. I'm not confident many/any of those players can make an impact off the bench
