Red card all day, over the ball, studs up.
Edit: Not even a yellow

Thats really not that bad. He bounces off the ball and up. Maybe a yellow but not a red in a million years.
If that’s the case he isn’t in control surely, hit him under the knee and trailing leg come scything round for good measure, that was worse than Pogba’s redThats really not that bad. He bounces off the ball and up. Maybe a yellow but not a red in a million years.
So over the top of the ball and off his feet D:
It was a weird one. Normally they roll over the top of the ball and up but he seemed to stud the ball reasonably far down it and then bounce up when the ball rebounded back.
I don't think it was fundamentally a dangerous tackle and I really don't like the current trend of penalising outcome over intent and I'm not sure there was intent there. Its like the ones where the player hurt has managed to put their foot down in the worst possible position and bad luck means the other guy lands on his foot.
Rolling over the top of the ball isn't a huge amount better? Arguably worse getting hit full weight mid shin than on the knee lol.
Penalising outcome is correct in majority of cases, poor judgement and execution has led to the situation just because they didn't mean isn't an escape. Else they'll just repeat the action.
