Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 12th May 2022]

Ffs, if a player goes down with a head 'injury' then they should be forced to sit out the next 5 minutes being looked over by a Dr.
Its why I am 100% certain that the 60min match with the clock being stopped every time the ball is not in play is definitely going to happen, imo its not an if anymore, its a when. Timewasting has been extra prevalent this season throughout all the competitions and by virtually every team. Its just a matter of time now (in more ways than one :) )

Kinda incredible how many times keepers just stand bouncing balls for 15-20seconds yet I've only ever seen Mignolet punished for it in like 20 years

Thought Liverpool would push on after the equaliser but the game just petered out a bit. Same with 5mins ET going up - air of resignation about it all. 1 point worse than 0 as far as Spurs goes for us but still works for us if we can win at Leeds and get something out of the derby at the toilet bowl.

Was a huge effort but that amount of games without Salah actually being good is impossible, better hope he finds something before the finals or we start seriously resting players.

Games are really starting to catch up with us now, a draw against spurs in our most difficult game left was probably always on the cards. Still we're top of the table and there's always a chance Newcastle can get something tomorrow (lol).

**** happens, played well but Spurs defended better than we attacked tonight.

Slim hope is almost non existent but City still need to win their games so I'm not giving up hope.

Would rather have another league title but another CL will soften the blow.

I think City will have a wobble too, might be tomorrow... depends how they recover from the CL disaster.
Thing is, I never foresaw City losing a match, at worst I figured they might draw one. So now, they can do that, they can have a wobble and draw one and still win.
