Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 12th May 2022]

Self destruction from leeds, what is Rafinha thinking too. Why is he going in two footed off the floor in the corner of the pitch, he can just stand him up, how stupid when your team is in dire situation.

That was 100% intentional from Ayling. All he had to do was stand him up and shepherd him back inside because he couldn't go around the outside due to the proximity to the line.

I've got another red card in the game at a cheeky 6/1, can see leeds going down to 9 if they conceed a couple more.

Leeds in serious trouble now, I didn't think they'd go down, but this doesn't look good.

Yep. A West Ham win today puts them in striking distance of Utd for 6th, which could be good news for Liverpool with them still to play City.

So we need to finish 8th to avoid the Europa Conference? I don't think we can drop that low.

I'd be fine with the Europa League, but the Conference seems a complete waste of time really. I suppose it's a chance to play a lot of the more promising younger players and rotate, but that's about it. A hindrance.

We seem happy to take our time vs forcing the issue to get a third, but the world-weary Arsenal fan in me knows there’s always a chance at 2-0 for silliness to occur and I won‘t be happy till 3-0 or they go down to 9.

I'd feel the same way, it would just be an obstacle and prolong the season for something that seems worthless, you'd rather the team be able to put everything into getting top 4 and be fresher for the league.
