Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [8th - 10th February 2022]

That’s a great result for us. Spurs and Utd dropping points against weaker opposition and us getting a win away against a stronger side. Massive result.

I thought that was a very good performance and the scoreline flattered Leicester. A bit better finishing and a tad more luck with the bounce of the ball in their area and that's 4 or 5.

I mentioned it at the weekend but I'll say it again, Jota's penalty box play is outstanding. I thought he looked a little lost on the right today and is far more suited to playing either off the left or through the middle but his ability to be in the right place at the right time in the penalty area is so good. He's like a throw back centre forward.
He was ok, I wouldnt go as far as to say he was excellent, but frankly if you asked me to pick out of Diaz, Salah, Mane, Jota and Firmino, I'd have Firmino at the bottom of that list.
I couldn't disagree more re his performance today but even so, for years we've had complaints from our supporters about a lack of depth in attack and now we have 5 top class forwards and now it's "he's not going to play".

We've got a lot of games so we're going to need all of them and the best thing about the 5 we have is they all offer us something different. In games away to your City's or vs sides that sit deep and try to frustrate us Bobby will still be invaluable to us. There will be times where Jota will be better suited and times where we may end up playing a 4-2-3-1 with Salah through the middle. Enjoy the riches we have now.
Can't imagine there was many, if any. He was a fans favourite
I was referring to the lunatics on twitter and tbf, there's plenty of those for all sides.

Well I certainly never said "he's not going to play", all I said was that his case for the front 3 is getting weaker. Which I stand by, so you and I will simply have to disagree on this point

I thought there wasn't much for the first yellow, barely touched him if at all and only given because the Wolves player collapsed. Second offence was definitely a yellow.
