Both him and Robbo can cross really well but can't hit a barn door with a shot.
What’s he looking to gain though? He’s got form for this. They aren’t playing for him...throwing them under the bus isn’t going to help.

What's he got to gain from giving them constant support if they can only be arsed half the time?
Sometimes players are the problem, difference is they can't be sacked as easily as a manager.

Think our LB/RB have had more shots than the forwards.
Bobby has had a pretty poor half really, quite a few of his passes have gone astray, including 2 which went straight out for a throw, but Ox is frustrating me again. So much of what he tries just doesnt come off. IMO his time at Liverpool has just gone into a dead end, cant ever see him breaking into the first team and tbh there are young players I'd rather see in a match day team than him now
The players arent nearly always the problem but why are they playing for him? He brings on Calvert Lewin at half time when he clearly isn’t fit.
Some managers are just stuck in the 2000s when it comes to management. He isn’t going to get their support doing this...by all means in the dressing room but publicly? No chance.
You think Richarlison hears that and reacts well? He’ll already be thinking about where he’s moving to in the summer.

Everton should have got a point from City bare minimum, played there hearts out then don't bother the following week, you really think lampard or any other manager would say only turn up sometimes?
All the Everton problems now were here before lampard, only difference is they weren't getting called out for it by the manager
As I said I won't judge lampard yet, as a manager any way too early days. He did well when using Chelsea youth at start, failed once all the money was spent.
He took that job too early, Everton need there season to end now and restart next one.
Anyway back to our game, hope we can get Elliott involved more if not get Diaz on.
Ox has been best for us so far in middle park atm

But he's right. The trouble is players just cannot take any critism anymore. Listen to any of the older pros talk and they mention boot cleaning, sweeping stands and a whole ton of banter. Almost every player I've seen in interviews recently states most dressing rooms are almost silent, even the banter and jokes got stamped out. Lampard doesn't come from that, neither would a Ronaldo. They dig people out and players wilt.
Lampard is 100% right, but the players will now turn on him and he will be the fall guy for their complete lack of desire. It must be hard for ex players like him and a gerrard who gave everything. The same will happen to Gerrard at Villa when it starts to go wrong. Lampards mistake is coming back to football for this lot, they will end his career for good.

Read any interviews with him even before the season started, he was planning his exit for a while. If DCL and the physio says the man is fit to play he gets picked. They aren't Liverpool with any other talent or options, they are Everton slung together by 6 managers on the back of a fag packet.
