Greenlizard0 PL/CS/FA Cup SF Football Thread ** spoilers ** [15th - 21st April 2022]

Salah's a worry for me, his decision making is so poor at the moment, and he can't hit a barn door with a banjo.

I did think for a while that it was tiredness but that doesnt seem to be the case. His touch seems poor at the moment and its like he has a mental block. Hopefully he can get a good break over the summer and get his head sorted

It'll come back. Mane was awful for most of this season and has been fantastic recently

I hope Ibou's goalscoring exploits aren't a flash in the pan. My one criticism of VVD is that he should score more goals for somebody as dominant in the air as he is. Konate is equally as massive and powerful and I hope he continues to use that when attacking set-plays. His goal today and in midweek looked effortless with opposition players just bouncing off him.

He might be my favourite United player of all time.

Pogba was bleeding after :cry::cry:

I think Salah didnt have too bad a game in reality, Trent was playing fairly deep so salah didnt get the support. It wasnt until hendo came on that Trent pushed up and Salah got into the game more. Plus zinchenko played really really well against him.

Must say, i managed to get a ticket for the game today, what an atmosphere, no doubt the city fans not observing the tribute to the hillsborough 97, wound us up proper. Anfield south was proper bouncing.

Annoyingly there was loads of empty seats in the Citeh ends, if they cant get the fans, say so and let the other club have the tickets ffs. All in all great performance, it wasnt all that much of a weak team from City, they were just really poor

That first Norwich goal is some of the worst defending I’ve ever seen, he’s in the box and there isn’t a defender within 10 yards…. incredibly bad.

Telles is a shocker, he was all over the place for the entirety of the highlights so I’m assuming that was the same all match.

It's really hard to overlook the two times he should have put the game to bed. He went for goal and flubbed his chances when in both situations could have squared it for tap ins.

wasn't in 4v2 for one of them?

The biggest problem is we scraped a draw against Norwich who are the poorest team in the league but the players will believe their own hype. We will get a battering by Liverpool on Tuesday.

It still kind of funny how poor the teams are 4th-6th. None of them deserve a champions league place tbh.
