Well Im not a Toon fan but I really have no idea why thats offside.

Yes he's offside when its crossed but its not to him and then the Forest player clears it intentionally

How is it a new phase? If the Newcastle player had be onside, the clearance would gone out for a throw it. The newcastle player wouldn't have been near him
Same way Mo was onside this season, can't remember the game, Wolves maybe, a player tried to head it with Mo behind him.

Kane v Liverpool a few years back as Lovren was said to have played the ball.

That's the rule

He played it, but it comes off a newcastle player who is offside. The newcastle player gains a massive advantage, he wouldn't have been near the clearance to make that block had he been onside originally
But that is classed as a new phase, same with the Mo goal this season and there's been others like it too.

I dont see how its not the fair call. That ball goes out for a throw in had the newcastle player been onside originally
Yes I agree to some extent but the rules say different. Unless we are missing something as they haven't actually said why it was offside yet.

Like the Mo one and I'm a Liverpool fan. He was stood offside but not going for the ball, their player went to head it and made a mess of it and it bought Mo back onside and into play.

These are the rules by the way. Offside player doesn't automatically become onside just because a defender has touched it. Y'know, like with a lot of decisions in football, its open to interpretation
Forest player clearly intentionally plays it for me. He's clearing a cross. Unless they think it just hit him
