Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11th - 14th August 2023]

Sancho a big improvement on Garnacho, immediate difference, more heads up, challenging defenders.
Good to have competition for places. They can spur each other on.
What have we learned tonight.
1. Wolves maybe aren't going to automatic relegation fodder.
2. Rashford is never a centre forward. His hold up ability is poor.
3. The inverted full back thing didn't work at all.
4. Mount signing looks odd
5. Central midfield conundrum that has existed for 10 years still not resolved.

When AWB is close to your motm then you know things are bad.

You have to be concerned with this display as a United fan. That midfield is going to get ripped by other teams.

Or Wolves are actually decent this season?

Far too early to tell this season. At least we didn't get beat 4-0 like last season. I think the pressure is more the issue as in moments we have dominated Wolves. You can clearly see our ceiling is a lot higher.

Time will tell. Only the first game I suppose. Long way to go yet, transfer window also still open.

Sancho seems brighter, at least. Garnacho as an impact sub for the foreseeable.
Onana is so much nicer to watch, and has actual presence.
