Newcastle will do fine but I don’t reckon they’ll compete with City for the league, not yet anyway.

The extra games during the week and they’ll want to be in the CL after Christmas as well.

Going from playing once a week to twice a week, most weeks is a huge change. I think pundits/media are right about the toll it’ll have on the squad.

Hopefully Arsenal can really push City this year as it’s starting to turn into Germany, never has a team dominated this badly. 100 points, domestic treble and treble and potentially 4 in a row.

I cannot see it myself as Arsenal don't have that proper number 9 and isn't timber now out for the rest of the season? Also isn't Jesus injured as well? He is made of glass.

I think the league cup final proved last season were just short when it comes to big game mentality, if we are top for a period of time I would expect us to fall away at some point

Not sure it was a smaller squad but it was a better one.
