Everton are like Newcastle in the Ashley era just circling the drain in a spiral of ****. Something needs to change behind the scenes there to sort it or they're going down sooner or later.

If you're relying on DCL to a) be fit for more than 10 games a season and b) actually score in those 10 games in order to stay up then something is badly wrong.

He knew what he was getting involved in and will be getting paid well for it. No sympathy here.
 
how’s many subs this year? Same as last season?

Barnes, Wilson, Anderson, Livramento and Murphy could all provide something off the bench!! We never had that last season.

They are the opposite really. No club has wasted money like Everton in the Farid era. We were better off under Kenwright spending nothing and selling assets when required. Where would Newcastle be the last 18 months if Ashley had spent like Moshiri.

Everything I've heard has said none of the managers through the door from Carlo onwards have been told an honest story of the finances.

I mean I could have told you they are in a pickle, theres no way he didnt know.

Yeah guess from a finance point you're right!

The atmosphere in the club is a similar level of toxicity though.

Absolutely but the depth of it and how much he might have to spend and those before him. At least with Moyes and Kenwright it was open and upfront that it would be loans and bargain buys. For all the money wasted they still haven't bought in better players than the ones they paid a couple of million for.
