Its weird how they spent half an hour in the first half on offsides but second half they have just given up and its a quick call.

Re the Arsenal chat a few pages back… form-wise they’ve been better than City over all of 2024 IIRC; where it went wrong was the 2023 part of the season with the slowish start and a string of bad results before Xmas. Then the team went to Dubai, came back and had an incredible run to create this down to the wire (in theory but we all know it’s just that) last day. The damage was done earlier in the campaign though, not against Villa or ‘only’ taking 4 points off City. You feel like the team has to be flawless from start to finish next season, but then it can’t be forgotten the season Liverpool finally won the league City had a shocker and only managed 81 points to their 99 and tbh you feel like the only way another team gets a sniff is if City aren’t up for it.

Same with Diaz, same with Salah, same with a lot of our players. Wonder what they’ll be like under the new manager when coming back from injury, it’s like they’ve all be playing fatigued for half a season.

City had nothing to play for in the league by January as Liverpool had dropped two points by February

Looking forward to tomorrow night when Spurs are 3 goals down inside the first half due to Ange ball gone wrong. At least it will give the Arsenal fans an early night.
Sky just desperate to keep Sunday exciting bar two games. At this rate they will be showing Brighton v Utd in the battle for 8th and 9th.
