Stop being silly. He's given Ben White twisted blood all afternoon but had no end product. He's 19 and will only get better.
He can give him a hamstring injury if he wants to but if he floats a ball over everyone's head its a waste isnt it. Absolutely zero end product. 3 shots off target and 4 blocked. Excellent work.

Bottling used as the term for ‘didn’t win it’ is terrible
Agreed, it seems to crept in a lot in recent years it's basically every time a team is in a superior position (in a match, league table etc) and then doesn't win they are labelled bottlejobs as if football is supposed to be played out as a procession with other teams not trying.

Can't wait to read about players 'bottling it' by having a standard (i.e. not trying something silly) penalty saved in the Euros this summer.

If you are in a dominant position in the league and you throw it away when the pressure is on then yes, that’s bottling it. City don’t bottle the league. Last season Arsenal did. This season they won’t have because they have run City to the end, regardless of the final outcome.

Everyone quite happy to throw the term “Spursy” around when they’ve simply been outplayed but getting salty over the term “bottled it” when it’s them on the receiving end

Spursy is meant in a bit of heat though. Bottling it seems to just be use for any kind of failure these days.

Header from 5 yards the goalie has pulled off a world class save? Bottled it

Smash a penalty off the cross bar? Bottled It

Lose after being 2-0 up against someone like City? Bottled it

If Arsenal don't win the league, I still think its the Man City game where they played for a draw. City were there for the taking that day and Arsenal let them off the hook. Quite ironic when Arteta's notes before the Man U game he said, you have to go out win the league....

People will disagree and thats fine, but I still stand by Shane Warnes great words to England in the ashes - are you prepared to lose to win?

I would say the last 2 are prime examples of bottling it
