Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [14th - 15th September 2024]

Making subs on/or around the 60th is so much par the course for managers that its a meme these days. As Pigeon touched on they were totally the wrong subs attacking wise as both Gakpo and Nunez were anonymous in the game time they had (expected for Gakpo but not so much for Nunez). personally i dont think anything can be learned from the loss re Slot

"We lost the ball so many times in simple situations. That is the story of the game.", I think anyone that watched the game could see that, i would say if anything he is hamstrung (like Klopp) by not being able to take off Salah - although Dom was **** poor at times as well.
Yes but you are missing the point...if he wins every match then I would never find out anything about what is done and said when things go wrong. What a manager does when things go wrong is as important to me as what they do when things go right. Failure is inevitable at some point, so I'd like to get an idea of how thats handled, thats why this was still useful to me. I dont expect everyone to understand that or agree with it, nor will it play on my mind if they dont understand that or agree with it. Its all fine.

if he was to win every match who gives a fudge how he handles defeat

But yes, i find the idea nonsense, each to their own though :)

Calamity of a goal that.

One that is befitting of Everton.

Edit* it was unlucky, but it's the sort of goal that Everton concede!
