Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 21st August 2023]

I'm sure Utd will get better over the season, but for the money thats been spent over the years. The managers are not rubbish, the players bought are not rubbish, but the club just seems all over the place (looking from the outside as a toon fan) Where's the spine of the team, like back in the old days. The GK, CB, MF and Striker that you build the rest of the team around

It comes from the top, there is still no structure at the club. They've brought in ETH and let him pick the transfer targets, which is risky.

I think the fans are generally a bit fed up and would like the club sale resolved, although that's gone totally quiet.

In terms of the squad, it's imbalanced and not good enough, pretty simple really. Would a single one of our players make City's starting XI? Nope. We're miles off.

Not sure what more can be said, there's nothing we can do.

100%

The club ownership needs sorted out asap - this "charade" of nearly 9 months now is a joke.
Greenwood situation needs dealt with one way or another.

United still lacking, and have been for YEARS, a proper ball winning midfield player - REAL quality one.

It's blindingly obvious.

Paying £70 million for a injured 20 year old centre forward doesn't smack of great business either!!
