Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 12th February 2025]

Is it so difficult not win and maintain since dignity? Liverpool have been blessed with a lot of soft decisions over the season, sometimes you gotta accept the ineptitude of the officials lands on your doorstep
The tears are particularly salty in work this morning.

Saint Virgils comments about it being Evertons cup final seem pretty poorly thought out to me.

He's basically said that our players cared more which is a pretty dumb thing to admit when you're trying to win a league title.

Truth is he's just salty af

It is evertons cup final, same as it is every season. The bitters have nothing else to play for

I look forward to the dvd release of the famous draw against Merseyside's top team in the last ever derby at goodison.

Imagine being outmotivated for a derby in a season when you're going for the league.

He said something dumb, just accept it. He's trotted out the same line previously as well.

Also there is nothing more sad than fans of big glamour clubs taking a dump on fans of less successful clubs for wildly celebrating. It's the type of thing you expect from 13 year old scrotes on social media who have never gone to a match in their life and have no understanding of football culture or local rivalries.

Bottle being behind by 7 points? Makes sense. We have some serious injuries at the moment which makes the possibility of us catching up on any potential Liverpool slipup even less likely.

Yup not singing a proven striker in the Jan window has put shot to any chance of catching Liverpool

I don't think it's over yet and I think the gap will be smaller at the end of the month when you look at the fixtures. Should hopefully set up a decent run in.

It was done the moment we lost Havertz.

It's to the team's credit they have been so difficult to beat this season, in what has been the worst run of injuries at Arsenal in a decade, but you can't maintain a credible title challenge with your top 4 forwards out medium to long term.

Front 3 stands as Sterling-Trossard-Nwaneri, and there are no further options - in those roles anyway.

Except for a monumental Liverpool loss of form, there's not enough in the tank.

You'd think he know what a real bottling is when he witnessed this

Fans and players are hypocritical, who cares

I'll mock it being your Istanbul and within 5 minutes appreciate that if I was in your situation that is one of the all time great draws. In fact, all things being equal except we were in the losing position last night it'd go down as an all time great one for me.
