Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 25th May 2023]

Bees Bees Bees!

That's Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea and Spurs beat this season. Mostly with a Championship squad too. When we brought on Zanka, we had him, Mee, Pinnock, Henry and Roeslev as our back five... signed for less than £5m combined.

Great away day.

Why are some United and Newcastle fans still sweating about Liverpool? There’s a 3 point gap and they only have 1 left to play

There’s zero chance you lose both of your last 2.

You have seen Utd play before when they ‘should’ do well right? Like, when we were well ahead and messed up a slew of games?

We should do it, surely. But you never know with football! 1 point, come on!

Glad Bobby got a typically silly Bobby goal lol :D

Fun end to the season, hard to beat intense rat teams like that at times

They have all come out of the woodwork after year of being MIA. We are stuck with them now until they outlaw tea towels.

A mixture of playing rubbish for the first 40 coupled with one of those days where nothing was going to go our way.

This is by no means sour grapes because the result almost certainly meant nothing with Newcastle and Utd both winning their games but the time wasting tactics from Villa today were beyond embarrassing. There's lots of things in football that need fixing but none as damaging as time wasting. Football is meant to be entertainment but for any neutral today would have been nothing but entertaining. Barring matches where there has been a serious injury that's caused a long stoppage, I'm struggling to think of another game where near 20 minutes of added time was played.

Aye. As a villa fan I've been saying it for years and it's even put me off paying for tickets at times. It's embarrassing.

I thought we where great today but as you say the time wasting detracts from that so much.

Can't say that I agree on it not been entertaining for the neutrals though. Was great football to watch a lot of the time when we weren't ******* about.
