Really hate the sight of Diaz trying to defend in the penalty area, every time he goes in for a tackle I’m waiting for the foul.

Liverpool have to give him whatever he wants within reason. I imagine that the sticking point. His age and the contract he would want. Hes currently the best player in the league though. If it ends up costing them 700k/week for his "useful" period in a 3-4 year contract then I still think hes good value for that.
 
Just back from the match and Christ we did our best to try and throw that away, for me that’s on Howe, as you could see the team drop back 15 yards at the start of the second half, like he had said “keep it tight and same some energy for Wednesday night”. We were very lucky there to get away with that ad forest probably only needed another 5 mins.
 
We’re so light weight with some of our tackles, lose the ball then immediately look for a foul.
 
Our midfield is non existent and you’d think with basically an extra one in there we could do something

Honestly very lucky to be ahead
 
This is Citys season in a microcosm. Play alright, don't really create that much and then just get sucker punched due to ***** defending.
