And destroy any confidence the young players have? Not sure this would be a good idea at this point, but I know what you mean.
The thing is that young players seldom have poor debuts. They are carried through on the adrenaline and the lack of fear. Honestly I think there is little to fear. Casemiro is a disgrace but it's not his fault, it's the muppet who didn't see that Real Madrid being prepared to let him go was a sign of damaged goods.

Stop obsessing with the formation - it's irrelevant.
1. Win your duels
Everton are wining the duels
2. Press as a team
Everton are pressing as one to make it hard for United to play out
3. Move the ball quickly
Without any real creativity Everton have lumped the ball forward quickly, put it in the box and have a unit or two who can create havoc.

Formation is nothing - we have 11 they have 11. Ours just aren't physically or mentally up to it.

Your right players are rubbish however 5 at the back even would be better we need to make us hard to beat defensively 3 at the back doesn't work.

I think there formation switches that could be done to achieve better results.

He should roll the dice. They can't do much worse than Casemiro... the fans would give them a pass if they struggled. They might do well.

I don't think it would destroy confidence really.

No one is going to hate on a young player's first game in the Prem. I wouldn't say a no lose situation as such. But I don't see it being a destroying them situation. Also, these players play up through the ranks and are well coached and supported at this level.

Good job there are 3 team at the bottom of the league that are toilet. United would have been fighting with the bottom 3 under amorim.

Yeah, fair enough. I guess they would be protected more than I think, at least from a fan perspective. But players egos are a fragile thing these days, as we’ve seen!

No he isn’t.

He actually was. Fergie's intuition was right, mentality over looking pretty when rebuilding. Cant build a beautiful mansion on quicksand.

Nah, with a full pre season and his own signings (e.g. money not wasted on players like Zirkzee, De Ligt) I think we'd be doing better.

Moyes has never shown anything to suggest he can lead a top club (which we were in 2013), but he's very good at what he does.

You had won the league but it was the end of an era, The amount of first team players over 30 that needed replacing was large, hence Fergie left when he did.

Certainly, but there was no obvious evidence Moyes would be able to rebuild a title winning side.

Unfortunately due to how badly the club was run, we never got to find out, but I don't think it's particularly likely based on what we know about Moyes.

So what is the point of closing down a man quickly and then standing 2m away from him?

So he’d be a good fit now then? Honestly Man U are broken and for me at least it’s plain to see that’s it’s down to the culture of the club.

Whats the most important part of building a title winning side though? There are 2 things that stand out to me.
