Certainly, but there was no obvious evidence Moyes would be able to rebuild a title winning side.

Unfortunately due to how badly the club was run, we never got to find out, but I don't think it's particularly likely based on what we know about Moyes.

And how many managers have you tried since?

So he’d be a good fit now then? Honestly Man U are broken and for me at least it’s plain to see that’s it’s down to the culture of the club.

He wouldn't. Regardless of our league position, the demands of the club are still completely different to elsewhere. Maybe they shouldn't be, but they are.

Ratcliffe has probably told Amorim he's got to be modelling some of the new Adidas gear when on the touchline, every penny counts. It's this:

Or addidas are determined to follow on from their World Cup attempt at the German Strip by including something controversial! https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-from-adding-44-to-german-team-football-shirt

I think those demands and expectations are getting less and less as times goes on.

It’s crazy how bad they are.

Every game against us is basically a rest week for the opposition. Defensively our press is absolutely comically easy to play through and offensively some vague pressure has us collapsing.

I'd just like to see Obi and Koné get 20-30 mins now, see what they can do. They're 2-0 down and nothing is changing any time soon.

There was just a great example of that. Zirkzee decided to aggressively press Tarkowski and blocked the wide pass out so the ball is played forward centrally to garner who Casemiro jogs up to and allows him all the time in the world to lay take the ball, lay it off and progress forward. It's so obvious what we lack in midfield, legs.

Without going into detail about tactics (as it's getting a bit boring now), quite simply we are playing more defenders than most teams, yet we look worse than ever when defending... if you have no control of midfield, you'll just get battered all game, an extra centre back won't help with that.
