Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 23rd October 2023]

I think we are doing okay considering our injury crisis. People seem to blindly ignore that even tonight we are playing with Lindelof as left back and a centre back partnership of Maguire and 35 year old Evans.

You might be missing the fact that Sheffields injury crisis is probably worse than United’s.

If we win then it’s possibly the only time I recall United winning a “special” match.

Usually big occasions which relate to the clubs history result in a bumming.

I know the pundits will say Slab had a good game tonight but fail to realise he is up against Sheffield United. Then next week he will get skinned alive by City.

In one post you're saying Utd aren't doing too bad struggling to beat Sheffield Utd and in the next you're saying people shouldn't give Maguire credit because it's just Sheffield Utd :D

We have barely had any coherent starting 11 since the season has began. No wonder we are all disjointed.
I can't really accept that. We have no system of play unlike most other teams. We rely on a moment of inspiration or a counter attack and have done so since Ole was manager. That's on tenHag to sort and he's failing so far. We've laboured since Christmas 2022 which is approaching a year of little progress. Even the Carabao cup win was quite a stodgy effort. Actually think Fernandes is a big part of the problem in this system which makes it more baffling that tenHag splurged so much money on Mount. A win but it feels pretty empty after that performance against the worst team in the league.

I haven't paid any attention to international football for quite some time but Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is part of the England set-up?!?!
