Not unhappy with that selection. No Bruno or Gordon. Anderson starts for them.
Was tempted to try and go tonight, been over here the last month but got back from Spain last night, been to France, Holland, Italy and Switzerland in that time. Flying back to Melbourne tomorrow and really couldn't be bothered. Haven't been down there since Didi Hamman scored a raker of a free kick there at least 20 yeas ago. Think it was 2-0 win.
Obviously would love a win and give this comp a real go but wouldn't be too disappointed at a loss given league is more important and we've looked far from convincing so far.
 
Sad state of affairs that we think passing the ball back to Pope to to play out rather than our two CB’s it’s also not good for the health hah!!

Sandro’s vision to play the ball first time forward is exquisite.

Entertaining irst half. Trying not to get too excited too early but Tonali looks so good, always available for the ball compared to Longstaff who hides behind defenders just out of reach. Mind we should probably be behind on balance of play but cant see them keeping that level of effort up all game.

100% he’s been at full tilt for 45mins. His ability to move the ball about so quickly with line breaking passes is frightening.

Gitted for Willock hopefully just a knock and being cautious!
