Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th - 27th October 2024]

We should have been 2-3 nil up by half time. That game was all on the players not the manager.

Get rid of ETH by all means but nothing will change.

Boring. We had this all of last season, excuses and more excuses. Things continue to deteriorate, regardless of the team he puts out or the players he has available.

West Ham were utterly awful in the first half, Lopetegui adjusted things at half time, made a few subs, and we fell apart. As usual.

slight difference is that chelsea (although overspending) have bought some decent players, you lot.. not so much

And Chelsea had a better manager then, and seemingly now as well.

If anyone is interested, Neville has commented:

We can't just go from game to game with the sack hanging over the manager. It's not fair on all parties. INEOS need to take some responsibility.

Chelsea are doing well almost entirely because they bought Cole Palmer. Literally everything good yesterday as well as their goals all came from Palmer one way or another. He is carrying that team.

I just watched the United highlights and if Ten Hag had hair he would be pulling it out. We should have been out of sight in the first half and then that is an absolutely shockingly bad penalty decision. How on earth has VAR told him to go and look at that. It shouldn't have been given even if the ref himself gave it in the first place. VAR should have been overturning it if anything.

Yeah, other issues aside that VAR call was ridiculous. I just don't understand how that justifies their intervention.

Thanks for agreeing that they've bought some decent players :p
