Yea, we haven't played badly, mostly dominated, got hit by two counter punches by West Ham but we have run out of ideas in this game and need a proper striker.

Toney for the right price, but I wouldn't spend more than £45 mill.

Isn't he 28? Depends on the length of the contract but I think much more than 45 mill is not great for a player with maybe 4 top years left.

If he scores 12 goals between now and the end of the season then Arsenal will likely win the league. I think you'd pay £45m+ for that. Who else could you get, in January, that guaranteed EPL goals and offered something different for Arsenal tactically. Weghorst loan ?
