Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [26th - 28th December 2023]

As utterly disappointing as that loss is its not the end of the world. Think that mess up at the back / potentially out of play goal set the tone after we looked so dominant early. Only 2 points behind Liverpool, plenty of games left. This has to be a message to Arteta that a striker is our number 1 priority.

I wonder if Jordan Henderson looks at this league table and thinks, I could have been a part of this, topping the table, possibly on my way to lifting a 2nd Premier League trophy...instead of playing mickey mouse games in front of "crowds" of 1,000 people.

We had better not muck up this advantage now by failing to beat Newcastle at the weekend

I'm sure these refs will screw us over somehow again
You’re joking right?, have you seen how we have played away from home this season, we have just been outclassed by 2 of the bottom 3 teams in the league. If we get away with a close 1-0 loss we will be doing well

We're in a good position in the league aginast a team struggling, this is exactly the sort of game we lose :( We go through spells where it looks like we have no idea how to score a goal. Add into the mix when we do score there's a good chance it will be wiped out for 'reasons'.
