I'm still not really sure what Garnacho offers, match to match. He's another moments player, but I just don't see him as a threat 90% of the time.

I think it's alright depending on the rest of the setup, and how well Ugarte gels.

We've got Gravenberch, Macca and Szoboszlai, none of whom is especially defensive...

We didn't really, we massively overperformed for 75% of the season, and eventually giving the first goal away stuck us back to where we always should have been

This is what I said in the club thread:

Attack seems inexperienced, defense seems injury prone, midfield seems weak defensively. Older players are a year older/slower. Hopefully Onana is less error prone. Carrying Mount, Rashford, Sancho and Maguire.

If it goes poorly then surely they can't blame injuries next season? That's bad planning if injuries wipe out two seasons.

Not sure where all the optimism is coming from? The team is largely the same. I suppose Martinez being back should make quite a bit of difference, is that where the optimism is coming from?
