Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [3rd - 5th February 2024]

Far better team won on the day but we looked so casual at times.

Gravenberch should not be starting these type of games. He's immensely talented, very young but as soon as he loses possession he throws his arms up in the air like Kevin the Teenager and looks completely deflated. He also rarely chases lost balls and presses like a Grandma in the gym.

Alisson, VVD and Konate all had off days but they've all been immense this season so not something to worry about but Diaz and Gakpo are both big concerns. Neither seem to have much impact in possession and don't look threatening in front of goal. As soon as Salah's back I'd be starting Nunez on the left, Jota in the centre and Salah on the right.

think it makes it less interesting, City will win it from here, even after this I don;t think Arsenal are a realistic challenge
I think if City go top, there will be no stopping them, no matter who you are. As long as they are the chasing team, theres hope, but if they hit the summit at any point there will be no dislodging them

They were 'better' from half time until the VVD mistake but really not by a whole lot.

Deservedly beat and needed a massive Saliba mistake to have a decent chance of scoring, Arsenal on the other hand had many good chances prior to the 2-0.

City will be pleased with that result.

Hopefully Brentford can get a result to keep it all close. Out of the three I would rather Arsenal win the league. I guess the big positive is that Arsenal have already played Liverpool twice and Liverpool still need to play City so a draw there would be perfect for them. Beat 115 away and they are right in it.
