Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [6th - 7th April 2024]

Quiet day in here today. Big one tomorrow. Hopefully it’s as good as the last few matches between those two. Ill take anything another 4-3 United win or another 7-0 thumping. The joys. The insane thing is we don’t know what type of United will turn up! Hopefully get a brilliantly fun open game where both teams just go for it.

With Luton losing and Everton winning, even with a possible points penalty to come, it's looking like the Ev are safe for another season. And with Luton's next game away to City it's very possible that the relegation battle could be over by next weekend.

Yah, it’s a great year to get point deductions. That is one thing they can cling onto, if you’re going to get the deductions this is the year to get it!

Just seen the disallowed Wolves goal. Don't understand the outcry, stood directly in front of the goalie in an offside position when the header was made.
It's an odd one, for instance there wasn't much reaction from the players.

However, by the rules of the game it's offside.

I can't think of any. By the letter of the law it's pretty nailed on.

On a similar note I can't understand people question Arsenal's penalty. Was 100% nailed on but even pundits seem unsure.

Probably because the pgmol have recently come out and stated if you get the ball first it's not a foul - see one of the many excuses for the non penalty in the Liverpool/man city game. Think there's been a few others but that's the one that springs to mind 1st.

Liverpool: Kelleher, Endo, Van Dijk, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Robertson, Quansah, Bradley.

Subs: Adrian, Gomez, Konate, Jones, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Gravenberch, Danns.

Surprised Konate hasn’t started if fit not that Quansah is bad at all he has been fab since coming in

It is a must win today so be nice too if we didn’t go goal down first for once!

The worst thing Liverpool can do here is play the occasion, if they focus on the football and stay calm, they should obliterate us.

I think the recent cup result should help them too.

Thought Utd were decimated by injuries, Liverpool got more first 11 starters out

Yeah, it's largely the first XI.
