Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [7th - 8th October 2023]

He's a fantastic player but he needs to be played higher up the pitch. Doesn't have the pace or strength to play as a 6 and he's being ****ed over by Klopp.
Sure, but where would you play him? He's clearly not taking one of the forwards spots, and the way we play mean the three midfielders have to be able to get up and down - that's a prerequisite. We don't have space in the team for a genuine 10.

I agree that he's a fantastic player, but I'm but sure where he fits into our formation.

Edit: just to be clear, I'm not writing him off, but of the two of them I'd be playing Gravenberch more and giving Alexis time to get up to speed

Where the **** is Nunez? I thought the point of him was to score goals . Mo has just rolled the ball along the 6 yard box and he's done nothing

I missed the first 30 mins so but I understand it wasn't a great performance. 15 mins either side of HT I thought we played well and it started to feel like we'd taken the sting out of the game but Brighton's changes midway through the 2nd half caused us so many problems. They were constantly getting overloads in wide positions and it was just a matter of time before one of those set-plays resulted in a goal.
Yea, I saw it earlier. It's a nonsense. He was 12 yards from goal with the ball right next to him. We've seen players sent off when the attacker is running onto 20+ yard passes and not in control of the ball.
