Macca worries me. He reminds me of Thiago.

Don't get me wrong, I love Thiago - he's been one of my favourite players since his Barca days - and his personal stats for us in terms of passing and intensity are great, he was arguably our best individual midfielder since signing until this season. But Klopp's midfielders are primarily physical, and need to be sufficiently technical beyond that. It's why Gini was so good - he could do both. To me, Thiago in midfield for all his brilliance weakened what the rest of the team was trying to do, and I'm concerned that Macca is similar.

He's a fantastic player but he needs to be played higher up the pitch. Doesn't have the pace or strength to play as a 6 and he's being ****ed over by Klopp.
