Greenlizard0 Premier League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [9th - 13th March 2024]

We were the only team unbeaten in London last season, wouldn’t surprise me if we reverted to form and went a stretch not winning in London again for a while.
Aye hard to pick their form at the moment alright. Keep it tight in the first 20 and go from there so no doubt we’ll be two down early doors and battle the way back from there

I really hope the rumours are true that Longstaff is playing with an injury he’s been invisible for around a month now! Him and Miggy down the left is painful to watch. Glad it’s been switch about.

Common sense. City's wage bill for last season was over £400m, Liverpool's £370m, Utd's and Chelsea were both well over £300m too. Do you really think City's wages have reduced by 50%, Liverpool's by 2/3's etc? In the case of Utd, they publish quarterly accounts and in the 1st quarter of this season they paid out over £90m in wages and this typically increases quarter by quarter - their wages will be close to £400m this season.

Thats ridiculous. £30m/month on wages. Thats roughly £7.5m/week. Even if you paid 15 of your players half a million a week you would only just hit that figure. Does that include all staff at the club inc. manager and the other high up staff?

It’ll certainly include bonuses, which for some could be massive.
