So, so lucky. Handed a goal and then survived a clear penalty appeal. Shocking performance by Giggs in particular and Carrick to a lesser extent, so casual and it should have cost us. That Giggs wasn't subbed tonight....unbelievable from Fergie.
 
How United have been winning titles for years these wins, it is impressive. (Not implying due to ref bottling penalties all the time btw :p)

Is Evra really better than Fabio or whoever plays there now? He looks shocking every time I see him for the past 2 seasons.

Evra played quite well tonight :confused: One particularly great challenge in the second half that denied a chance.

I lost count of how many times Dembele ran rings around Carrick and Giggs tonight, just buy a ******* midfielder.

Constantly giving the ball away, starting a half decent run the ****ing up the pass or just falling backwards and letting a Fulham player take the ball other than a decent challenge.

Yes, it was a penalty. Yes, we didn't play that well. Ultimately though we were the better team by a distance and would've scored more on another day. Frustrated that Berbatov and Cleverley didn't get on because Berba suits the games were we control possession a lot more than Hernandez did, and Cleverley was surely a better option than Giggs who was dire.

He was frustrating because he defended well and made some brilliant runs but some of his passing was embarrassing.
 
I was rolling my eyes a few weeks back when people on this board were complaining about Real/Barca getting preferential treatment- all top teams get it.

What you said 10 minutes after your first post is not really relevant to my point though.

Anyway, let's move on, Valencia was fantastic tonight and Evans is continuing his good form. We might actually have a selection headache in central defence when Vidic comes back, who'd have thought that? I just wish we were so good at finding centre mids...
