You say that but then you consider that Leciester have probably controlled the midfield for the most part. Leceicster have played some nice stuff to be fair but they lack a cutting edge without Mahrez & Vardy.

He's been tidy whenever in possession and worked hard as cover, he's had a solid game. Exactly what you'd expect a DM to do.

Not too bad for a first game, most players did well. Sanchez is a worry, he's working hard but seems pretty rubbish.

I'll take that, still missing a lot of players. Some players playing their first game with no preseason.

He's done well on the ball but I completely disagree about his defensive side of the game. He's been ineffective defensively and failed to break up play and stop Leceister's attacks. You wouldn't have had Leceister constantly getting at Utd's defence had Matic been there.

Don't know who thought a manu game to open would've been a good show, same stuff as last year. Granted Sanchez purposefully sabotaging 50% of the times they got possession.
