Not looking forward to our game tonight at all, most players excluding Gerrard are doing patheticly poor even for them.

In the games I've seen since his return Gerrard has been awful. If he's been the best of the bunch I dread to imagine how bad the others were against Sunderland

When he came on vs Sunderland it was a standard Stevie performance these days, quite good, always looked better when he was forward. Rest of the team made him look like Messi for the short time he had

EDIT: That half arsed everton side is the sort of one that could beat us.

And toward the end after each shot he was taking clothes off.

Stunning goal from Stevie, that move at the start of the game with Suarez shows why he really needs to be played in that advanced role, very classy stuff.

Decent half, still think other team will score everytime they come to our half though.

Got to be happy with that first half performance. We look a different team going forward with Gerrard in the team not only because he's not tactically, creatively and positionally retarded like Adams but because he allows Suarez to express himself with the ball rather than run himself in to the ground without it.

Not happy to see Gerrard leave the pitch limping though, he has to be on the pitch for 90 minutes if we want to win.

He's just getting more support than usual. He's one of the most creative players in the Premiership and had it not been for some abysmal finishing he would have dozens of assist this season.
