Adam El-Abd won't take any **** from him!

I considered going to the game briefly, as I was at the League cup game earlier in the season and the atmosphere was amazing(but then they were the first Prem team to visit the new stadium)

Everything was great 6 days ago. A little over a year ago we were worrying about getting dragged into a relegation battle, now we're in the CC final and challenging for a place in the CL.

Suarez recently did an interview which I found quite quizzical if he is indeed sticking to his stance that anything he did say wasn't meant offensively....

"I knew what I did and there is a kind of football law that says 'what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch and that's the end of the story'."

Surely if he's of the opinion that he did nothing wrong then why moan at Evra breaking this football law? :confused:
 
When SAF is slating Suarez in this BBC interview and he said "Liverpool should get rid of him". Why didn't he get rid of Cantana when he decided to karate kick a fan in the face? He's so opportunistic. For once I think Rooney gave a flawless interview.

Cos Cantona kicked a fan and not a fellow footballer :D
 
Good result for Arsenal. Chelsea are falling apart, think Villa Boas really should have just done 1 or 2 more seasons at Porto before moving on.

Aye, he got banned for 8 months, kicking a fan is a lot worse than what Suarez, too much whiskey has pickled has mind.

He did ban and fine Cantona of his own accord for four months, and the four-month ban they gave was then extended to eight by the FA and made continentally-binding by UEFA after that again.

And Fergie's always snapping at the heels of Liverpool, one of the few things he could be drawn on at length last January was how great Adam was and how any potential bidders (read: Liverpool) should pay more than the touted amount at the time (I think it was ~£7 million?), effectively driving up the price.
