To be honest, if there is 1/2 yard in an offside decision I don't feel you can blame the linesman for that. He has to be looking down the line and simultaneously see precisely when the ball is struck anywhere on the pitch.

This is the thing that annoys me about the offside / video debate

Endless replays showing x attacking player 's half his leg is offside - that to me should be "benefit of the attacker" - if its 3/4 of the body or clear air between players then completely fair enough

Why Im not sure video tech is the complete blessing some think it might be

edit - Im not sure but is that 2-0 goal the one that makes Utd owe Monaco another £10m for Martial ? Not sure if its that one or the next - if rumours of the transfer are correct of course
