Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th March 2018]

Magical Marcus - with credit to Lukaku also for the headers

McTominay and Matic have done really well but its so wonderful to see Bailly again

Lukaku should have shot at 2-0 up, and Mata really should have made it 3-0 but made it far more complicated than it required with the bicycle kick

Should really be 3 courtesy of some ridiculously bad defending, Mata clearly didn't know he had all the time in the world :p

Great first half, positive yet robust, lovely first goal.

Should be 3-0 up, hope we don't regret that...

I think you'll be safe, if we had scored 1 before half time then I think it could be risky but I think utd should be ok now. Cant see us scoring 2 in the second half as even if we got one back I would expect utd to go full defence mode and we wouldnt be able to break it down.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing but playing TAA at RB today has cost us. He's a midfielder that's learning to play as a fullback and mistakes like for the one for the first goal are always a risk. Our general play has been ok but Ox and Mane have killed things in the final 3rd.
Lovren comments before a big game? Cost us on both long balls rofl
Lovren getting blamed for others mistakes again? He's up against Lukaku, over the course of the game Lukaku's going to win a few long balls regardless of who he's up against. Our problem for both the goals was the 2nd ball and nobody picking up runners, not Lovren losing out in a 50-50 with Lukaku.

come on - that wasn't an injury , (I'm not condoning the booing, but a ball in the side of the face - even from that range - shouldn't really be called "an injury")

Whatever, I’d be here all day pointing out the awful crap from that crowd

He’s not actually challenged Lukaku for the first one, yeah he can win it, but it was so perfectly easy

Agree on Ox and TAA though :(
