Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 14th March 2018]

Did you actually just compare spitting at the pitch to spitting at somebody Frank?
spitting at a piece of glass

If I spat at a client I'm pretty sure I would get fired.

At work most people would

he wasn't at work though, and while it shouldn't be condoned hr was also getting abused back- not to mention that the guy was obviously recording it in the hope of getting a reaction, its not like JC actually started it by spitting

There are far worse things going on in the world - that this kind of stuff even makes headlines is bad in itself

This kind of stuff always happens in Man Utd vs Liverpool. As i mentioned in the banter thread I have seen grown men in tears due to the banter. Especially the Gerrard slip and 41 second send off. I think the fact the driver was using his mobile phone and not paying attention was far worse. Yes Jamie spat but was still keeping an eye on where he was going. There is sufficient evidence there for the driver holding the camera to get booked.

Ipersonally think its much about nothing - ok so JC should do some charity work for either a children's / "abuse" charity instead of working on Sky for a month or two but its not worth firing him over (at the end of the day its not really punishing him by firing him anyway - he doesn't NEED the money, even though I'm sure it will keep the mansion that much warmer)

He was an idiot for getting filmed, and for spitting - but for god sake, the girl probably saw more footballers spitting on the pitch in the prior two hours or so , so the "act" itself is irrelevant .

The world has gone crazy wanting people fired over what is actually a storm in a tea cup (isn't the first case like this and wont be the last but going over the top doesn't help anyone)
Geezus you really are clueless. Wonder how you would react if he spat at you?? Oh it’s ok because you know footballers spit all over the place

I don’t know of any other footballers present or past that go around spitting at the public

if he was looking where he was going he would have spat onto his own windscreen and not in a child face in another car

It's a shame footballers don't get fined for spitting even on the pitch. It's bloody disgusting.

Carragher and the driver both being ***** and doing something that is illegal aren't mutually exclusive.

The driver was far worse but doesn't make anything Carragher did right lol
