Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [10th - 15th April 2015]

and the Pardew juggernaut just keeps rolling?

How did he not win manager of the month last month. Wenger did win more games but Arsenal beat West Ham, Everton, QPR and Newcastle, with Everton/West Ham being home. Good but out of them you had not a single in form team.

Palace lost to Southampton away, not terrible but beat Stoke, QPR and City... for a team like that, come on, that is amazing.

Also, wow, Palace scored 3 in the space of what, 5 minutes, game over?

That fourth goal was shameful from a Sunderland point of view. Weak tackle after weak tackle.

This is the same team we managed 1 shot on target against and could barely string 3 passes together. Also the same team that Pardew somehow lost 4 in a row to. Lol at Palace's team not having the mental capacity of a bunch of 8 year olds.

Oh how far we've come. I'd 100% welcome relegation if it meant Ashley had a heart attack.

I really hate Poch.

The team has been consistently poor with Lloris, Kane and Eriksen being individually brilliant to save Poch's face.

He cant motivate, he doesnt know what team to pick and he cant sort out massive failings. Stubborn fool.

I still don't think it's that likely that WBA would get relegated but, they've got spanked by QPR, Villa beat them, Leicester have come back twice and now taken the lead while WBA are at home. They play Palace next then, Liverpool, Utd, Newcastle, Chelsea, Arsenal.

With the run in they've got they aren't out of the woods yet. Last 5 games has seen 3 defeats against relegation rivals. 4 wins in 13 games isn't great.

EDIT:- while a good result for Stoke, away draw, that last minute goal will be hard on West Ham and stops Palace going to the top half of the table. Stoke losing would have put them 10th.

Great result for Villa and given they are playing better, remembered how to score and actually attempting to win games by attacking they look on the up.

There is a sense that Leicester/QPR are playing a bit better and at least might get a few wins, while Hull, Sunderland(without 5 more games against newcastle) and West Brom look to be hopeless at the moment. But Leicester have QPR and Burnley to play, maybe only room for one of those teams to pull themselves out of it. Still Leicester pulled themselves forward for sure, game in hand and 3 points behind Hull, 4 behind Sunderland... though their game in hand might be against Chelsea?

But then Spurs sack him and they get someone else in and the same thing happens again like every season.
