LOL hardly the reelegation battle as been pretty immense as it normally is with Wigan flirting with being sent down then staying up but im just kinda glad that unlike last season, where we lost to them 2-1 at home...this time we taught them a severe lesson and made it 4-1 in the end.
Seeing as you like Wigan so much or seem to, can you please start supporting them and stop supoorting Arsenal??...

No, its football, not the "staying up at all costs show", nothing more or less. Its entertainment, if everyone played like Stoke, football viewing figures would plummet, people would stop going and the money would disappear.
There is nothing wrong with relegation, its part of football, they got relegated, they'll come back up, they are struggling for football fans in a town dominated by rugby and surrounded by bigger football teams, can you imagine the 19k people that attended this season would do so if they played like Stoke... not a chance.
Stoke are in the premier league, I'll happily watch a Liverpool vs Wigan game, but I'd essentially never go out of my way to watch a LIverpool vs Stoke game, or anyone but Arsenal vs Stoke and even then, chances are it will be a chore. Football is entertainment, nothing more or less, aspiring to be Stoke is pitiful, they are in the premier league, so what, everyone hates watching them, whats the point?
Still reckon we'll nick 3rd as I predicted a week or 2 ago. Think we'll get a comfortable win against Newcastle as will Spurs against Sunderland. Chelsea and Everton will draw. I've not seen much of Maloney but is he always a diving ****? First free kick Arteta didn't touch him, second he fell into him and he did a swan dive in the middle of the penalty box at the start of the second half when Kone almost scored.

the balloon payments will help wigan a lot, hopefull they don't free fall down the league(s)

If Asenal win 2- 1 and Chelsea draw 0-0 (possibly less likely of the latter) then it sounds as if Arsenal and Chelsea have to play off for 3rd spot

SSN saying Martinez will wait till end of the season/summer to make up his mind whether or not he sticks around at Wigan.
What Wigan should be worried about is losing some of their 'star' players, pretty sure a few of them wont want to be playing in the championship next season. The fear with that is if they lose their 'star' players then they could very well be on the way down next season and the season after if they arent too careful.
Moyes final game could lift Everton, but they also have nothing to play for (can't catch Spurs, can't be caught by Liverpool.) Chelsea probably very keen to avoid a playoff, difficult to call, I would've said Everton to win if it wasn't for the playoff
Would make things very interesting if there was a 3rd place playoff between Arsenal and Chelsea. Its not something that i would want tbh, id be happy if we got 4th this year...id rather us not have to play an extra game just to get 3rd.
But hopefully Chelsea will lose or draw to Everton, highly unlikely and Arsenal can smash 3-4 goals past Newcastle on Sunday and the icing on the cake would be Sunderland getting a draw or a win against the Spurs. Would make my weekend even better.

Of course id want 3rd place rather than 4th as i dont like the qualifying games myself.
Thats why im hoping that Chelsea get done over by Everton, we win by 3-4 goals and Spurs lose or draw to Sunderland. Probably wont happen ie Everton getting a result from Chelsea but i can only hope
