Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [11th - 16th September 2015]

What exactly is more embarrassing for Utd, that Fellaini is starting upfront or that Fellaini has already been more involved and looked more useful than Rooney by a large margin. Winning the ball, controlling it and actually finding people with his passes.

To be honest, I just don't know.

He does have a point but:

We have rebuilt almost an entire squad in that time. Literally a whole squad.

We haven't spent £250m total. We have sold a number of players as well.

£250m isn't that much these days especially if you are replacing most of a team.

To be honest, I just don't know.

Fair play, I wouldn't know which either.

The most strange thing about Moyes buying Fellaini is his insistence on not using him upfront. The one 6 month spell Fellaini was scoring and looking effective Moyes was starting him upfront, he looks frequently rubbish in central midfield and did so when Moyes played him there for Utd.

LVG comes in and has used Fellaini fairly often upfront where he can be effective, they have won games punting the ball to him and Fellaini scoring.

Shaw is beasting it this season. Makes such a difference having shaw and darmian as our left and right back instead of valencia and blind

lol

"omg, we're playing Fellaini, we're just going to hit it long"

"omg, we're playing Fellaini but we didn't hit it long"

Come now, its a corner. Even if you are Barcelona and your average height can be measured in inches you still put most of your corners straight into the area.

Man Utd fans.
