Worth it? Maybe, already looks better than Rooney.
One thing is since he came on they haven't tried to attack at all, which led to Liverpool pushing forwards. The second Liverpool score Utd push forward and score with almost their first real attack in ages and the first time they got him the ball with space to run.
Far far too much passing backwards from utd players in the past 20 mins, pushing forwards LIverpool don't have literally anything to deal with them. Defensively Liverpool are a disaster and they only time they've looked dangerous going forwards is when Utd chose to sit back and cause themselves trouble.
EDIT:- I did genuinely wonder if Rooney is out for 4-6 weeks with a proper hamstring pull and Martial or Depay started scoring while playing centrally, after his woeful form in the past year if that was the kind of injury that could cause him to lose his starting position.
4-6 weeks out if Martial scores a few and is threatening then Rooney will struggle to get back into the team.
