goal conceded don't always determine how good the goalkeeper is. Look at united defense most of the season it has been terrible De Gae has probably performed more saves than most keepers in the prem gaining united points single handedly.

My worry with our defence isn't the players brought in. They've all been good defenders. It's that he seems capable of turning good defenders into bad ones. The system is awful.

Lovren hasn't worked out so far, but didn't Vidic and Evra have very mediocre first six months when they signed half way though their first season? It's important not to make absolute judgements after a relatively short period of time, imo.

Also, how much fault can go to Rodgers, given the ~transfer committee~ Liverpool have? How does that work exactly?

We don't know they say he has final say so if so I'd imagine all blame would end up with him
