Rogers didn't have any choice in the matter. Suarez wanted to go and he would have ended up doing more stupid things if he was forced to stay. They also got good money for him.

Mourinho wouldn't have sold Suarez without buying a replacement either. Ballotelli and Lambert are not worth even 1/4 of what Suarez brought to the team last year. Suarez was always going to leave but what Rogers spent £110m on has caused him these problems as much as Suarez leaving.

If Rodgers is sacked, it should be for allowing Suarez to leave and then not following up with a marquee (replacement) signing. He should've tried to keep Suarez for one more year (Fergie did this with Ronaldo - stay one more year and then goto Real Madrid).

I'm not sure why Liverpool fans are not discussing the Suarez factor, given that he was the best player in the league?

For the record, I think Liverpool will still get 5th place, so Liverpool fans shouldnt get too frustrated.

They lost to the team with the best form (5 wins in a row, before this game), so this loss shouldnt be a surprise.

On the subject of Man Utd not playing well: we have now won 6 games in a row. On the pitch we dont look like a killer team, but we get the job done. People also complain about our defence. I'd like to remind people that statistically, we have the 4th best defence in the league. This may come as a surprise, but its true.

Why do you keep playing Rodgers for suarez going? Hardly his fault we got the extra year out of him and it got us champions league, he earnt the right go move let's face it when Madrid or barca come in they tend to always get the player everything after that e.g. What Rodgers bought us as replacement then he is solely to blame
 
Was an exciting game to watch, can't believe we won 3-0 really with our defence.

It's nice to see Liverpool struggling, the Europa is going to really kill them off I think (that squad depth though!).

We also have Falcao and Di Maria to come back into the side when both are fully fit. If we can buy a top CB and perhaps Strootman in January I would be a happy boy.

Well there you go then. In as much as the murderes and justice song is vile, lets not take too much of the morale high ground when Munich songs were and are sung from the 70s to the present day.

Both sets of fans both vile for doing it
