Away from home I think even AV have potential to be a difficult game let alone anyone higher up. Spurs, Newcastle and Stoke are all potential slip ups before the New Year's hang-over has subsided (due to the restricted time between them as much as anything) - one or two dropped games (even draws) and we are back in the throng of 4-7 which is a real bunfight
I remember, last year, when I was berating Moyes for being ****, you kept the faith. First you said we can win the title. Then as Moyes kept going, you said top 4. Then you said top 6. Before you finally understood that we were a genuine 7th place side.
Now, the reverse is happening.
We have a World class manager at the helm.
We are winning games.
We are the most in-form team of the moment.
And you have no confidence in us. This is the 'Moyes Effect'.
I would actually say that we need to be focusing on 2nd place now.
I'd also like to remind people that the starting 11 against Liverpool, were all last year's players. No new signings started that game. It just goes to show how bad Moyes was. Moyes says that these players are junk (and lose 0-3). LvG comes in and makes those same players win 3-0, in the same fixture.
Keep the faith Frank.
We shouldn't be fearing teams.
They should be fearing us.
