Got my bets on for tomorrows big game, figured I would hedge my bets, so I put £10 on Ibrahimovic to score first and Utd to win 2-0 @ 33-1 , and £10 on Sturridge to score first and Liverpool to win 1-0 @ 60-1 :)

Is sturridge fit? I thought he went off injured last game?

Spurs are playing brilliant football, they look top class at the moment. There's so much competition for those top 4 places, it's impossible to say who's going to get them.

Jamie Redknapp lobbying for the own goal to be awarded to the Spurs striker: "it was on target, the defender doesn't want the goal, the striker wants it, give it to the striker"... someone tell the idiot that it wouldn't have even been a goal if not for the massive deflection.

Spurs are making West Brom look like a non league team and they've been a decent outfit this season.

18th in the table against the top half of the table this year, with Sunderland, Hull above them in that table. In fact only one of the bottom 6 is below them in the table vs top half teams.

The draw against Spurs and win against Southampton are their only points against top half teams this year so.... meh. They've been far more attacking and as a result far better on average, but they've been more easily beaten against the top half than before as a result of being a bit more attacking and open in style.

Semi interestingly is, last year was nearly a complete reverse, 10th against top half teams but 4th bottom against bottom half teams. Last year they parked the bus and weren't fluid enough in attack to win against the bottom half when they tried to pick up their points. this year they are attacking more everywhere so the offence is far more fluid. This is killing it vs bottom half, being 6th in the table against the bottom half, but they just aren't good enough to mix with the top half teams.

If they maintain this style next year, they'll likely improve at attacking and improve at defending with fewer numbers rather than parking the bus as they are used to.
